About

Meet Shannon

Shannon is a Licensed Independent Social Worker–Clinical Practice (LISW-CP), a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (ADC), and an EMDRIA Certified Therapist. With more than eight years of experience, Shannon has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing a wide range of concerns. Her areas of expertise include trauma and substance use, along with extensive experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, stress management, grief and loss, life transitions, and personal growth. Shannon believes that every individual possesses unique strengths and resilience, and she is passionate about helping clients recognize those qualities as they work toward healing and meaningful change. Shannon takes a collaborative, strengths-based, and client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs and goals. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support trauma recovery, Motivational Interviewing (MI) to strengthen motivation for change, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build on their existing strengths and create practical, lasting solutions. Shannon is committed to creating a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to move toward greater healing, resilience, and fulfillment. Self pay is $125.00 per 50 minute hour. I also accept BCBS Insurance.
